They called again. There is something wrong with Howie, I do not think it is serious but they are feeding him glucose, sugar water. Hopefully to find out more on the next phone call. Prayers please.

My two Blessings: No word yet on Howie, no news is good news. The first photo was Wally a day old in the hospital, second one is Howie. They look like brothers:-)

We think so too. I just want to hold Howie and squeeze him to pieces:-) Hard to believe Wally will be 3 in November, he is growing too fast:-)

Blessed that while we played musical cows everyone ended up in their new pen without any escapees! Usually when we move all the pregnant heifers and weaned calves around (every spring) there's always at least 1 that chooses to ignore the big wide path and runs somewhere she shouldn't.

I wanted to let all of you know that Howie and mom are home from the hospital and Howie is fine. Thank you all so much for the prayers, I sure do appreciate it. My family and I are so Blessed that the new member of our family is fine and doing great. They will FaceTime with us this weekend. We cannot wait.

Wonderful update! Glad to read everyone is doing OK and hope you have a leisurely FaceTime visit!

Blessing from yesterday was a sweet mom acquaintance texted me a mini video of our kids in Splashball together in a session I had missed. Inspired by her, I'm thinking about how to put more happiness out in the world today.

Yesterday's blessing that spilled over into this morning (meaning we stayed out WAY too late last night lol!) was seeing a bunch of friends we haven't seen in a while. It was really nice to catch up with everyone, but I'm also feeling blessed that we don't make a habit of staying out late :)

Yay for the occasional late night with good company!

Lots of grace came my way today. My electric car has been acting up lately and when its "check engine" light goes on, it doesn't let you limp home and make some calls. It shuts down in the middle of the busy road with no warning and then if you are super lucky, it might let you restart it and continue on your way. I have been counting the days until the mechanic comes back from his fishing trip. But today, the light went on literally as I pulled the car into a parking spot at my daughter's camp. Plus she has twin friends at the camp, so their dad helped me get it rebooted and offered to help if I couldn't get it back home or I needed someone to cart my kid somewhere at the end of camp. Plus my hubby was working from home today so as I glided into the driveway with the hazards flashing, he could talk me through how to disconnect and reconnect the battery if I need to do that on the road instead of leaving me at home wringing my hands until he got home from work. He also let me "steal" his pickup for the rest of the day and wow, compared to a little SUV, other drivers give you plenty more space when you're cruising around in a 20 year old pickup!
