That sounds fun, ladies!!! I got to spend most of the day with Hazel and then started getting my flower beds cleaned, moving strawberries around and getting ready to plant more. The lilac trees are flowering and they smell so pretty!!!

Oh Debbie - what fun flowers those are! Love the darkness. I bought a bunch of native pollinator plants and took them up to the barn sale to decorate our garden items - we got hit by a crazy hail storm and my poor pollinator plants took quite a beating. I'm hoping they will be okay once I get them planted.

I hope Laura's pollinator plants rally. Debbie's "shady" garden guild is so cool, I had no idea so many flowers had dark varieties!

I've been enjoying the smell of my lilacs as well!

Today I'm blessed with a library full of books for working on badges. I checked out 3 today. Hopefully I can get them all read before they're due back. One is going to be a hard read (about punctuation)!

Ooh! Eats shoots and leaves? Woe is I?

I followed along with a strength training workout video yesterday and am grateful to wake up feeling like it definitely challenged some muscles I wasn't aware I had.

Eats, Shoots, and Leaves lol!

What videos do you do? I like Pamela Reif. Quick but effective! Feeling the abs today :)

Blessed with an absolutely gorgeous day outside!

Hooray! I think I missed half the dry British humor (humour?) in that one, but it was still a lot more fun than I expected.

I'm doing Caroline Girvan Iron series (day 11/30). Something about her bouncy Irish brogue and that she actually has to sometimes take a break that makes lifting less of an ordeal. If I finish, I'm coming for Pamela next.

Today I'm feeling blessed to have legs that are able to take a beating lol! That workout was a good one! Tomorrow it might not feel like such a blessing when I'm walking down the stairs...

Heather's willingness to jump on the crazy exercise video bandwagon is so inspiring! Hope you could still manage to pull the muck boots on and keep Sassy in check this morning!

Today Fallon and I are feeling blessed to have zero scheduled commitments. We can settle into The Zone on our personal interests without having to remember to keep checking the time.

It took a little longer than normal, but I got it done LOL! We'll see how my shoulders feel tomorrow! I hope you enjoyed your no where to be day :)

My blessing today - the rain was one of those wonderful, warm, gentle rains that you don't mind being out in for the evening chores. I like those much better than storms!

Hubby has been fighting some sort of flu/food poisoning (*not* from my bakeovers, to be clear!) all weekend, so we used our unscheduled time to go to the climbing gym so Fallon could "work on level 8's" and her fear of the taller walls. I was nervous because my husband usually belays Fallon and it is 50-50 whether she gets into one of those tired/rigidly perfectionist spaces where she's crying on the wall but refuses to take a break while good Samaritans circle the wall below her trying to encourage her and "Aaaah! Stop looking at me!" Even with a couple Caroline workouts behind me, I'm not strong enough to fireman carry a 60 pound puddle of tears out of the gym and back to the car, yet... But I was blessed that she was cool as a cucumber the whole visit and game to knock off a couple of my other errands on the way home. We might go back again today!

Also blessed that a copy of the new MJF magazine arrived and I am having a delightful time punctuating my to-do list with little breaks to read an article or two.

Glad to hear the day turned out to be a fun girls day! I hope your husband is getting over some food poisoning and not spreading some flu germs.

Feeling more than blessed Jens got out of bed today! Everyone else has stayed healthy! Fallon shot up a bunch of walls yesterday with her twin friends and is now negotiating an exchange rate for math and language arts questions completed for minutes of climbing time... We've created a monster!

We sometimes pick up seeds/plants as souvenirs. I still have these coconut orchids from Kauai that smell like suntan lotion and one started blooming today!

Some blessings here over the past few days - a new bull calf and a litter of 3 kittens. Pictures soon!

So blessed to have a resident water dragon lizard hanging out in our front garden over the past few days. He just lays about, soaking up the sunshine. I am so excited to see the native animals taking up residence in our new house yard. We are slowly getting it cleaned up since we've moved in & I can't wait to have bird baths in place & native plants to feed the wildlife. There have been quite a few birds around thanks to our neighbour's beautiful native garden. She is such an inspiration!

I had to look water dragon up, what an awesome name! Can't wait to see the new arrivals at Heather's dairy!

This 'Yamada' maxillaria orchid is yellow but most are burgundy with some yellow highlights.

Today I'm blessed with some quiet time to bring some order back to the house! (Is it weird to be happy about having time to clean? lol!)

I am so very Blessed to be able to grow Columbine, I do not very well growing other things to well but I sure try. I just love Columbines as they remind me of Colorado. Her are a couple photos of my flowers.

I absolutely love the purple and white ones.
