Fresh bag of coffee with strong new aromatics from Colombia to wake up to this morning. Fallon's help feeding the familiars. Two good books to fill the lulls in the day. Hope everyone else has a blessed start to their day too.

Thankful for the rain that poured all night and continues. It’s a good day for cozy inside projects. And coffee.

Grateful for a hubba hubba who can fix my dead battery and get me back out the door to work timely! Grateful for a great boss who tells me not to panic, take my time! Grateful for raspberry lemon muffins and hot TEA on this much needed rainy day! I had enough rain growing up in the valley, but our high desert is in desperate need. Enjoy your cozy projects today, Debbie! xo

So happy to hear you're getting much needed moisture!
I'm blessed to get a lot of farm work finished and it's only 12:30! Maybe I'll be able to get the house somewhat back in order. The darn maid has a habit of not doing a very good job when I'm busy outside. (I'm totally joking - I'm the maid LOL!)

Lol, Heather! Hooray for productive if somewhat disorderly days! My "maids" were mini huskies, but they shed about as much fur as they clean up in food kids drop. So then I hired a robo vacuum but she's usually panic-texting me in some corner, half choked on an electrical cords...

Speaking of disorder, I'm grateful for "good hair." Letting it air dry in the morning is definitely superior to falling asleep with a wet head. :)

You girls sure know how to have fun I will give you that!

I am so super blessed, the Sun is out and Kent is taking me to the Beach. We will have lunch and watch the kayakers and the waves crash. I am just so excited as we have not been to the beach in a while. It is so my happy place!

Big Hugs,
Debbie

Beach picnic sounds so fun!

I love having a jar of sharp pencils on hand. My favorite sharpener was awol for a couple weeks. Now that I've found it, I am enjoying watching all of these cute golf pencils Fallon and I use shrink to nubs as we fill up pages with creativity.

I am thankful for a washing machine and a sunny day to line dry some of the laundry today. I'm picturing washing days of yore where someone had to boil all that water or haul the laundry down to river. I have it so easy.

I am blessed to start the weekend with a good night's sleep, an abridged to-do list, and extra-creamy coffee from where the "cream on top" plug at the top of the bottle plopped in. Happy last day of February!

I agree with the washing machine! I can't imagine trying to clean my dirty barn clothes by hand!!! I'm blessed to have so much sap I can't get it all boiled down to syrup in a day :)

I am blessed this Sunday morning with a quiet house. Fallon and Jens are on a gold/gem prospecting adventure in the national park.

Did they find any treasures?

I'm blessed with a sunny day before the rain starts. It's going to get very muddy around here this week.

They found 1 flake of gold worth $0.40! Not quite enough to break even on all the panning equipment they invested in, hehe.

I was blessed with an answer to an overhung climbing problem at the gym and a new favorite view from a wall I had never topped out on before.

Blessed my kid likes packing bananas for her learning center lunches. Our freezers are already crammed with chocolate covered banana popsicles, banana breads/muffins, banana sorbet... The bumper crop off our tree needs to go somewhere! The first graders have dubbed this variety "fat banana."

I would love to have a banana tree! And black olives! Glad you found an outlet for them, Chris! Your climbing adventures sound a little too adventurous for me!

They are fun! I'm blessed to have a hubby who handles the *banana maintenance,* though. Bananas set on one stalk, then the stalk is done and needs to be cut down, oozing clothes-staining latex sap the whole way. Sometimes Orioles blow in on the spring and weave little grass basket nests under the fronds and I hold my breath that the cats don't catch on...
