Wildflowers, well it is this Old Gal asking for your Prayers now.
I had to wear a Holter Monitor for 2 weeks for my Heart. I got the results on Friday and they need to do more testing as the results showed something they nor I liked! To say I am scared yes absolutely I am as I know what it means if the additional test shows the results to be true. So, I am asking you to please pray to whom ever you pray to, to help me get through test and try not to worry or stress out like I am. I tell you Wildflowers I am 71 as you all know but this past 2 weeks or so I feel 80!
Gosh but I am so tired and fatigued. But, this old gal will take it day by day, keep busy and pray.
Thank you all so, so much for always being there for each other, support and love. It means so much:-)

| I know that those heart monitor episodes can really cause anxiety....I've been through a lot of it with my mom. I will definitely keep you in my prayers that all goes well! I know it's easy for someone else to say...but try not to be anxious...modern medicine is amazing. When do you have the additional testing? |

I know I have not been on the HH the past week or so but I have been reading everything :-)
Still waiting for results from tests for my heart I had yesterday but really do not know anything yet. I slept until 10:30 this morning as I was just so wiped out.
I want to thank you all for your prayers and support, I ask you to please keep praying. And I know my results will not be as bad as I was thinking. Hoping to see my FP doctor or Cardiologist soon.
I will of course keep you posted. |

After many test some bad and some good, I do not need surgery. I am so happy! With a Cardiologist we will just keep a watch on things. With a proper diet, losing my last 20-25 pounds and not stressing I will live a long happy life:-) Thank you so much Wildflowers, having all of you in my corner really helped. You all are the most caring and loving Wildflowers and I am indeed Blessed and Happy.
Have a beautiful rest of your week and once again never forget miracles do happen and maybe a bit of magic too:-) Hee, Hee! |

Wildflowers one thing I have not shared with all of you is how much weight I have lost over the year. To date I have lost 65 pounds, I am still considered obese so my doctors want me to loose 20-25 to get at the right weight for my age, height etc. I firmly believe too that losing the weight is definitely helping my heart.
This is my latest photo taken with my Neice Erin on her birthday August 14th. As you can see I have lost quite a bit of weight in my face so now I really look Old!! I am working now on firming parts of my body up and not losing anymore weight in my face:-)

Debbie, that is wonderful news. You look fabulous and I'm sure you will reach your goal. Losing weight is very difficult and something I have a hard time with but I am hopeful. Now that I have found a chiropractor who is helping me to reach my goals with my back and sciatic problems, I am hopeful to lose the 25-30 I need to in order to get to a healthy weight. I am hoping they happen simultaneously. Less back pain = more movement = more weight loss.
Did your Dr help you with a weight loss plan or have you done it some other way? So grateful things are going well with your health. We want you with us a long, long time! Hugs. |
