Posted - Apr 10 2013 : 4:54:52 PM CindyLou,the boy in the second row was scrubbing very hard on a pool. He was very certain that he wanted to go swimming and the only way to get to his goal was to get the mildew off of the bottom of the pool. Ahhh, the things that drive little boys hearts . |

Posted - Apr 10 2013 : 4:47:14 PM Your pictures show personality rather than just faces. I am wondering though, what is the boy in the second row focusing on? Keep up the good work!

Posted - Apr 08 2013 : 1:39:44 PM Yes, most of them are my family or close friends. That is one of our ten chickens, Beaker. The shot of my husband I was having a hard time with. He was actually working on the roof so I was shooting straight over my head into the sun but his face was too funny for me not to take the shot. I loved this assignment. Thanks for the feedback! |

Posted - Apr 08 2013 : 08:47:48 AM Is this your family? And pet chicken? Adorable! You're catching them in nice moments--great expressions and good composition in the backgrounds. Watch for too much sun on faces. It tends to blast a subject's skin with too much white and consequently too much shadow, like on the handsome gentleman you've captured. People's faces are best done with a bit of cloud cover, but not too much. Good eye!
