Posted - Feb 19 2015 : 04:50:55 AM I am new to the Sisterhood (#6182) and ever so excited about the badge earning aspect of the Sisterhood. I am wondering about the length of time that lapses between when you submit the application for a new badge and when you hear back from anyone that it was successful. Feeling unsure that I submitted my information properly.... |

Posted - Sep 24 2015 : 09:49:48 AM Sonja, each badge level counts as a badge. So if you've earned Beginner, Intermediate & Expert that equals 3 badges towards your Sharpshooter. :) Daizy, the certificate list where you can download each individual certificate that you've earned is the place to go. Do you have one of the emails that you've been sent in your inbox still? The "Merit Badge Certificate" link will take you to that list. If you don't, I can email you that link easy-peasy. :) |

Posted - Sep 24 2015 : 06:19:44 AM Hay there, Brian,
Is there a place to go see what badges we have earned (listed). A Farmgirl asked and I think it would be helpful also.
Hope ya'll are well and safe out there.

Posted - Sep 23 2015 : 7:01:03 PM Question on badge.... As we continue to earn them, I am a bit confused about the Sharpshooter qualifications. Is it 200 different areas, or does beginner, intermediate and then expert on one badge count as 3? I would assume not, but just wanted to check.

Posted - Sep 21 2015 : 1:43:55 PM Hi Cristy,
I'm so sorry for the delay. We had an enormous amount of badges come in at the beginning of the month that we've been working on. We see 3 badge applications for you and they are the very next ones slated for review. If you ever have any questions you can always reach out to me at brianogle@maryjanesfarm.org.
Normally it doesn't take this long to process them. Thanks for your patience!
Thanks!

Posted - Sep 20 2015 : 12:30:26 PM I submitted for my first badges at the beginning of the month and don't know if maybe I don't understand how the process works or if it takes 1 month, 2 months? I just don't want to accidentally delete them in spam or something. |

I do see a couple applications awaiting approval. I'll get to them as soon as I can. I'm excited to see what you've been up to. Please feel free to shoot me an email with any questions (Merit badge or otherwise).

Posted - Feb 19 2015 : 07:09:37 AM Lisa Ann, It does take my son, Brian, and me a few days to get these completely processed (several steps involved). I apologize. Often times I schedule my Merit Badge approval sessions for late at night or early, early mornings. Once you get a few badges approved, the three of us will get in sync and then you won't worry so much about whether or not it went through (given the antics computers love to pester us with, it's understandable!).
I should add that sitting down to read all the new amazing things farmgirls are learning and doing because of our Merit Badge program is the highlight of my day. If I didn't have the magazine to create, books to write, and cows to milk ...
