Posted - Jul 05 2008 : 9:20:53 PM I have a crop of daikon radishes that are flowering. With regular radishes, I harvest about then but these guys have me confused. I read that they can get up to 12' long, but when I am pulling them up they are around 4 or 5. Some are fat enough to work with and others are very scraggly. With this type of radish am I supposed to just let it flower and pull it up later in the season? They are at least 2 feet tall with lots of flowers. They are very pretty so I don't mind letting them grow, but I don't want them to get woody or anything.
Any thoughts?
you can be oh so smart, or you can be oh so positive. I wasted a lot of time being smart I prefer being positive. |
