Okay. I have looked for a lawn care forum from another site and could not find one that had current replies.
I have a large lawn now that is beautiful in spring/summer but I am trying to find out when to use weed and feed and when to use turf builder? I'm sure time is getting close or maybe I should be using these things now. I have no idea. Any suggestions. Thanks.

Here in IL we put weed and feed on in early spring and late fall. Like Diana said, check with your favorite nursery about the best time in your area.

if you are going to put the clippings on any thing else try not to Fertlize or weed kill it will take out any thing you put the clippings on.. But that said go to you local Nursery they will tell you when It is a good time for your area.
