I got my Territorial Seed order yesterday and included with my order was a packet of carrot seeds that said, "these are provided free so that you may grow them for your local food bank or a neighbor in need" Well, that's not exactally what it said but that was the gist.
I am impressed! Way to spread the love! :)

That's awesome! Another organization that would take the carrots is your local WIC office.

I love the Territorial Seed Company. My order should be here soon, I just can't grow carrots. Susan, our small local food pantry will take fresh food. Or maybe a church paantry?

Forget buns of steel, I'd rather have buns of cinnamon!

Will your food bank accept fresh foods? Ours only wants packaged and canned stuff. They are open one day a week and I suppose have no refrigeration or facilities to carry stuff over.
Great idea though!
