Posted - Jun 16 2010 : 09:01:55 AM Those are cool! But as we live in a (usually) super dry area, in a log cabin, I kinda don't think we'll be attaching them to our house!

Posted - Jun 12 2010 : 6:43:17 PM Hey Alee - I'll ask my mom about saving bottles too - I've been making my own (chokecherry, hard apple cider, rhubarb-wild grape, dandelion wines) lately. They're all in the "aging" process. Fun!
Bet those would keep mosquitoes away too... I always loved that bottle I have, although I haven't used it in (let's see, how old is Colton? 4) 4 years now!! (grin)
It's so cool to come up with new uses for stuff!!! ~TJ

Posted - Jun 12 2010 : 5:14:25 PM That's neat TJ! I really like the way the guy mounted those high up on the fence and house. I think that would work better than the Tiki Torch on a Stick for toddler areas. Doug says he likes the idea and we can start working on it. So I need to put the word out on Billings Cafe for someone to save me some Blue Wine bottles because we hardly ever buy wine.

Posted - Jun 12 2010 : 4:43:50 PM I've never seen these mounted on a house, but do have a (cobalt!) blue "recycled" bottle with a porcelain cork/wick feeder... found Somewhere In Texas... it's really great for picnics and stuff! Minus preschoolers of course...
