I noticed the first baby tomatoes on my tomato plants today! One is only about the size of a penny and one is about the size of a fifty cent piece. I can't wait until they grow and ripen! YAY!

And my apple tree is has apples all over it, about the size of a fifty cent piece. Some of them are even getting the first red blush on them!

I am so excited that my garden is growing and starting to show that some signs of life! LOL I even have baby watermelon seedlings that FINALLY decided to come up. Who knows if they will produce this year though- they are so small...

Sherry- I wouldn't call Montana the South, but I know what you mean. The tomato plant in question was one I started VERY early and planted in a window box during the spring. It was already 2 feet tall when it got transplanted outside.

I was just out in my garden tonight and my tomatoes are really coming along. Most have 4 or 5 on them and they are bigger than a golf ball but not as big as a baseball. I am not being so lucky on my peppers this year they are really struggling. Of course we have not had any rain in weeks now. I have got to get out and finish planting my garden in the next couple of days. I still haven't gotten my cukes or any corn planted. I love gardening don't you?
