as if there weren't enough already...studies have shown that there is a link between the use of certain pesticides and the rise in ADD. Women who work in the Salinas valley picking crops, where there is heavy pesticide use, have a higher rate of babies who develop ADD or ADHD. As use of these pesticides have increased over the last fifty years, the rate of ADD, especially among boys, has increased at the same rate. Coincidence? possibly, but unlikely.
