I planted lettuce, mesculin, thyme, sage, and parsley. I live with family so I do it in containers.

I have what use to be a dog run. So it is a concrete pad. I am planning on putting on a small greenhouse on rollers, a two tier raised bed, and a raised bed with a trellis. Plus a few other containers.

Last year wasn't a great year. First time gardening in Texas. It is a far cry from Ohio. LOL

Wish me luck this year!!

Best of luck with your gardening plans. I can imagine TX is quite different to garden in then the Midwest.

Like Laurie, I'm waiting for a few more weeks and then will hopefully get my onions and lettuce started. I have my green pepper, basil and cucumber seeds started in the basement. I am having trouble finding the organic tomato seeds that I want. I need to find them ASAP or will have to buy the expensive plants instead.

Good Luck Amy! Sounds like you are off to a great start. I am itching to get out and garden here on Long Island also...just cant quite yet because of the weather. Hoping in about 3 weeks to get some "cool weather" veggies in the ground!
Smiles,
Laurie
