I'm reading Rosalind Creasy's new Edible Landscaping book. I never knew that tulips were edible! Now I want some! Does anyone know where I can get them this time of year?

Mary, tulips are available to order through Roozengard.com here in Skagit valley.
But I don't know about how edible.
Yes, tulips are edible. The petals, if not treated with chemicals, make good garnishes. The bulbs can be poisonous -- and it doesn't sound like they're worth the trouble.

The valley will look like this by the end of March. MB
