I recall a few years back, and advert in MJ's magazine from some company in Missouri, maybe? I'm looking for a good hoe, with an even better handle. I'm right sick of the crappy wood and laquer that goes into most hardware store garden implements.
Anyone have a hoe and garden fork they love?

I just requested Lehman's catalog, Lisa. I will also look up the website you mention. I'm not afraid of buying something that is expensive, as long as it's good. The problem with cheap spades, forks, etc...is the way they "feel" in your hand. Not at all comfortable for me. I have a few British made handtools that I'd never sell, even to the highest bidder, so I started there, but it's difficult to find purveyors. Thanks for the info!

Either check Lehmans or A.M Leonard. I was turned onto AM Leonard by my neighbor who is an MD with a passion for horticulture. Him & his wife have 100+ acres & he regularly plants several species of trees throughout his already lush woodland area.
Anyway, I digress...they are an excellent company to work with, certainly not the cheapest, but they have quality product, a catalog stocked full of itmes, ship same day & are right in OH. amleo.com
