Posted - Jul 10 2023 : 2:42:52 PM I agree Karen. There is just a huge icky factor when it comes to earwigs. I wish I knew a way to get rid of them. They are always hiding under rocks I need to move. My garden pest this year is Daddy Long Legs. They are icky too, but I am content with them over squash bugs, so they can stay.

Posted - Jul 09 2023 : 05:30:22 AM Thanks for the picture, Karen. Don't think I have seen one. If I did, I think I would remember that pincher thingy on the backend.

Here is a picture. They are usually about 1/2 an inch or so long. They are just freaky.

Posted - Jul 07 2023 : 06:28:38 AM I have no idea what earwigs are. We may have them in Texas but call them something else.

Posted - Jul 07 2023 : 05:48:56 AM I will be interested too on how to deal with them. They always make me shiver when they pop out of something, even the lid to my garage door opener! My son has a car cover and every time he takes it off in the morning it is full of earwigs. Ugh!
