I planted container corn, squash, cherry tomato. My dianthus are all up and my garlic. Planted my tipsy pots. I have patio pots and 1 raised bed these days.something I can manage. My mini yellow rose Bush made it thru the hard freezes! Connie Sue |

Posted - Apr 25 2025 : 3:22:20 PM Krista , so easy and inexpensive! Lisa, you are so right, I love the garden catalogs, never order planters from them. Too expensive! This is so easy and inexpensive to do! I have had dianthus in the bottom pot for years , it comes back every year! Connie Sue |

Posted - Apr 25 2025 : 2:04:26 PM Thanks Connie! I was wondering if you bought that premade, but the rebar sounds so much more cost effective! Those garden catalogs are pricy! |

Posted - Apr 23 2025 : 2:06:10 PM Yes Krista, they are suppose to be zig zag! My rebar needs to be straightened. It's over 25 years old. Its Why my pots aren't threading correctly. I saw this in a garden magazine about 25 years ago, loved it. The story was having flowers in a small space .Simple, doesn't take up much horizontal space. Perfect for beside a front or back door or walkway. Connie Sue

Posted - Apr 23 2025 : 1:33:29 PM Connie Sue, have you ever put the pots on so they go back and forth on each side? Hopefully that makes sense lol! Zig Zag style.

Posted - Apr 22 2025 : 2:49:55 PM Hey Heather, the tippsy pots are just a 6 foot rebar pole from any hardware store. Hammer one foot in the ground. Then using any kind of pots with a hole in the middle, thread pots biggest at the bottom, ever how you like it to look. I put my dirt in first pot, then thread the 2nd pot so I see where it will sit. I plant the first one and so on.yiu can push the rebar a little to the left or right to adjust how the pot sits. There is no wrong way, just what you like. I love it.I like Clay pots, you can use plastic or ceramic . Over the years, I've had to replace some pots that cracked. I take them off the rebar in winter and sit them under my picnic table. Posted - Apr 22 2025 : 12:09:37 PM I love your tipsy pots! Did you make them yourself? I have some tulips blooming and some of the fruit trees but it's a bit early yet to plant flowers. Getting close though!
