Posted - May 20 2026 : 08:27:53 AM Connie your garden is beautiful. I am hoping we had our last frost warning last night as I am starting to plant today. Love getting my hands in the dirt. I love the pocket hose as well. Much better then dragging that heavy hose everywhere.
A little rain can straighten a flower stem. A little love can change a life.

Posted - May 13 2026 : 1:40:58 PM Connie, we can have a freeze up until mid May. That's why I am always late to planting my garden. We won't plant anything that can't freeze until after May 15th. Our weather does show some close to freezing temps for next week, so I will be waiting even longer to plant my garden this year.

Posted - Apr 10 2026 : 09:29:52 AM Thank you Wanda Sue and Dawn! My area is small due to health issues, but it's brings me so much peace and Joy! I love perennials. Especially Dianthus! So easy, they love to be pruned, whick keeps them thick untill winter!
Dawn, daffodils are my favorite! We had a super hard freeze here right when they were budding, so many buds died, first time in 40 years, I've seen that with daffodils.
I'm so excited my pocket garden hose came, it's light as a feather and rolls back up when you turn off the water. I wish I had got one sooner! I can't pull out that heavy hose we had anymore, wears me out! This new hose is a God Send!! Connie Sue |

Posted - Apr 09 2026 : 6:46:16 PM You have a lovely garden Connie. It's really nice when the perennials return. Here in the Chicago area the daffodils and early spring wildflowers are blooming. It's wonderful to see colors again outside!
