Posted - Aug 21 2008 : 05:56:41 AM Does anyone know anything about antique dishes. I have a friend whose grandmother has a set of Enoch Woods Wear. From 1784 it is called English Scenery and has Ralph 1750 on the back of it. I have been looking it up but haven't found the answers I am looking for. Also, Blue willow wear, if someone were to collect it what are the best name company's that produced it to collect. I know the pattern is used all over the world by different companies. What would be the most rare ones to find.? Thanks for the help. Laura

Posted - Aug 22 2008 : 08:17:03 AM Laura, Encoch Wood was an american potter, late 1700's, though many patterns were produced well up into the 1940's and 1950's, by other companies. He originally fired what was called "creamware". You might have luck dating, or finding out more from this link.
