Posted - May 04 2010 : 07:20:08 AM I would like to thank Siobhan for the subscription she gifted me to Mary Jane's Farm Magazine! It is a great magazine. I picked up my mail this morning and I started reading it at the post office right after I got in my car. I would have liked to have sat there and finished reading it, but I had to get home and get things done.
What a treat, things have been hard for my family this past year and people not very nice, it happened to be my family who was unkind. It makes you lose faith in people when your own family does very mean, disrespectful and unkind things. My husband and I have moved on with our children and do not ever plan to have any contact with them again. I am on a soap box, sorry.
It was very kind and touched my heart, thank you Siohban. You all are a great group of Farmgirls!

Posted - May 04 2010 : 10:40:01 PM I am sorry to hear about your family issues. I have had to do the same thing with some of my family, so my heart hurts for you as I know your pain. I want you to know I am proud of you for standing up for your family. It sounds like you already have another family who is standing by you. I would think gifting you such a wonderful magazine is something a sister would do. Welcome to your new family!

Sorry that you've been having issues with family. Those kinda things can be so hard sometimes. I know the Lord will bless you and your family with many friends to call family, even when your own family is not being very family-like. (((HUGS)))
