Update: I just found the magazine issue. It's the Dec-Jan. issue. We are pumped now. Woohoo! Can't wait to get some goat's milk soap sales this summer. Not to mention having my own homemade soap.

Also, the soap did harden, but looks funny. We are going to ph test it and use it for my laundry soap if it passes the test. If so, it will help me make 12 more gallons of laundry detergent.

Thank you MaryJane for putting that article in the magazine. My daughter is so excited now.

Thanks!

Do any of you have recipes that you would care to share for goat's milk soap with lye? With and without essential oils?

We used one from a library book, and it turned the orange color too fast. We couldn't keep it cool enough to stay the suggested amber yellow (even with cold water and ice in the sink).

Would love help with this. It was our first time making this.

Thanks!

I don't have that issue. I was sick from Oct-Dec last year and accidentally let my subscription lapse. Thanks.

Do you get the mjf magazine? It had a recipe in the Nov/Dec issue. If not call Brian at the office and he can email it to you. Hope this helps .
