Oh my word farmgirls....can I just say...these boards are addictive !!! But I do so enjoy them...I have been hesitant to join in because I lack so many tech skills...but I am learning...and have stepped over to other boards...Girls...It is all awesome...but then most of you know that...so all who are just joining in...don't be bashful like I was...you will miss out on a lot of good stuff and so many blessings are waiting for you!! Thank you MaryJane and Co. and all you girls!!

I do enjoy all the boards...however not always sure of the order things should be done in...may not make sense to some..but...I do not want to offend anyone by something I have posted or not posted...and too..by what some may assume we all know and in reality..we may not...I would ask you "seasoned" farmgirls to help us out by emailing or whatever to put us in the "know"... thank you and I STILL love to get to the boards and love reading about everyone!! A wonderful fun sisterhood indeed!!! Addictive still....Blessings!!

Addictive, yes! But only because it is so fun and you can learn a lot at the same time. I know that if there is a question on my mind or something I don't understand, I can post about it here and someone is always willing to help me out. All the sisters here were such a help when I first got chickens way back when and were so supportive to me when we were going through all the troubles with buying this farm. This place rocks!

It is true that you sort of have to get your courage up to speak up on the forum! But, then you wonder what took you so long. It is so nice that my gfs are "always" available.

I love these boards too. I don't have alot of girl time with my friends who live out of town. This gives me a little girl time. Just wish you all were here in person. The computer is not the same.

I agree with everything here that has been said. I joined last year about this time and I have loved every minute. There is always someone who has experience with just about any question and everyone is so friendly and helpful that you feel like you belong. I hope you will enjoy yourself and I look forward to reading your thoughts as you post.

Shirley, I too was hesitant to join in on these discussions and lurked on the boards for a long time before I finally wrote my first post. Most everyone here is eager to help where we lack knowledge. Newcomers don't have to be shy if there's something you can't figure out be it a question on how to work these boards or how to make farmhouse cheddar. These ladies will be sure to share their knowledge! I feel everyone on here are my friends, they share my joys, my sorrows, my hopes and my dreams. They understand my interests and don't judge me for my failures. Farmgirls are the best!

Love, Love, Love all the great posts and all of my wonderful sisters! I try and check in morning and night, as Alee said- just to see what everyone is up to. There is always interesting conversations here and I just love the sense of "sisterhood".

I love catching up on forums over my morning coffee or after the kiddos go to bed and I'm waiting for DH to get home... its nice to feel like you've got peers out there, even if you're not meeting them in starbucks once a week.
