I just purchased another "Anne of Green Gables" book from B&N...it's a special edition - hardcover with silver plated pages for only $10.00. I couldn't resist it. This book contains all the Series book into one large book. I just love it.

I love reading Anne & Emily, not so much watching their series on tv - too much variation for my liking. But I like reading the 2 books Road to Avonlea was based on, even though they aren't the same. Weird, yes. I want to go back to PEI, just to see everything that is written in the books. Not to mention the ocean....oh a person can dream, can't they?

Hi Marly! I agree. I just wonder why I wasn't born there and in that time period. LoL

I just saw the Canadian television series last week. So great. It was the prelude to the series Avonlea. I need to order both.

It is a wonderful series, I loved them all since I was a kid. It is also interesting to read about L.M. Montgomery's history. Gives you an interesting view in regards to women of her time.

I love Anne of Green Gables! I will have to check that book out at the library. I am sure it would be something I would like to read.

When they had all had enough to eat, he said to his disciples, “Gather the pieces that are left over. Let nothing be wasted.”
