We found her! Praise God! Update is on my blog today.

Thank you for all your prayers!

She's been missing for a week now. Ever since "Cheddar" moved in, she won't come to the house to eat or drink. She was last seen last Monday and was very dehydrated.

We are on the hunt to look for her, but we have to let "Cheddar" go to another home. He's too territorial and will sit by the food so the ladies can't eat.

Could you say a prayer for us to find her? She was here when we moved in several years ago, and she is not very old.

Thanks.

Kristina, I am so glad to hear your news!! Now, to have a quick good by party for Cheddar once he has a new home and peace will reign again! I know it's tough to have to relocate an animal, but it is tough to watch the elders get bullied, too. I sure hope someone good comes to mind for Cheddar. He just wants his own place to take care of.

I just had coffee on the porch, and it's so happy to see Sassy join us.

On a different note, our house cat Tiger lost his voice. He could not meow at all. Not sure why, but I was told by our vet (my 15 yo dd) that if they throw up they can get a sore throat. After days of no meowing, he finally got a squeak out this morning. Thank goodness!

SO glad to hear that you found Sassy! I hope that you find Cheddar a good home so that things can resume to normal again in the barn. He looks like a real sweetheart, so hopefully it wont be hard to find him his forever home.
Hugs,

so, you are at 10 days now? Oh, dear, Kristina, I sure hope she makes it back soon. CeeJay had her cat missing about a month ago and she made it back!
Marianne

Still praying she makes it home.

We still have not found her. We searched the barns, we searched the woods, we called, we called and called. No Sassy. So sad. I am still praying she shows up. We put food bowls on two different sides of the step, so if she comes back, she can eat away from the boys.

Oh Kristina,
I am so sad to see you haven't posted. I am praying for you and your kitty. I have had the same problem with another cat moving in and then our cat was being bullied.

We are to have 100°F weather tomorrow, so I am very worried.

On another note, visit the barnyard forum for look at what the girls brought home from Dollar General.

Kristina I hope your kitty comes back.
Mine went missing for 3 1/2 days and we live out in the middle of nowhere. I figured the cyotes killed him or the neighbor up the roads pack of dogs. He showed up after we searched and called for him each day. He had some puncture wounds on his back but he is okay. This just happened this past week. Maybe your kitty will come back too. Will pray for his return. I know how you feel. I cried and couldn't sleep. I was a mess.We love our furbabies.

Take care. Hugs.

Oh gosh, I sure hope you find her. I know how territorial those boys can be. I have a friend who is looking for another barn cat and none of them will stay because of the boy cat she has around. :( Prayers that you find your kitty...

This is Sapphire. We call her Sassy, or Sassafras.

This is an old photo, but she still looks the same this year.
