I love Mary Jane's calender and have gotten one each year for the past few years.
This morning I was looking at August and, much to my delight, saw some special days for celebrations of some of my very favorite farmgirl things!

- FRIDAY, AUGUST 10th -"National S'Mores Day" - - WooHoo!

- SATURDAY, AUGUST 11th -"National Garage Sale Day" - - check 'em out . .

- WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 15th -"Best Friend Day" - Yay! (see pic of my best friend below)

- FRIDAY, AUGUST 17th -"National Thrift Shop Day" - goin' shopping! TODAY!!!!

And that's just the first part of the month! There are other fun things noted for later in August.
I'm looking forward to celebrating!!!

Just for fun!
CJ

Ok CeeJay, I am taking a picture of you eating smores in with me to my Dr.'s appointment. I am sure that will help when she takes my blood to explain the results. I am craving them now. I have never had one of Mary Janes Calendars but, am putting that on my Christmas list...

Oh CeeJay, I'm jealous of those yummy looking s'mores! Sounds like August will be a good month if I'm able to celebrate all of Mary Jane's days!

They were SOOOOOO yummy!
And, I've order more "marshies" from Sharon for the next "glamping" trip Robin and I will be taking over Labor Day weekend.
I also have MJF chocolate stashed for those as well . . . YUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!

ha! I didn't know this! But graham crackers, marshmellows, and Hershey's chocolate bars are staples in my pantry. Honey, get that fire ready! Smores ... it's what's for dinner!

Thanks so much CJ.I too have Mary Janes calendar and really enjoy it!
Unfortunately, its raining cats and dogs here today, so no outside campfire smores for us .
Supposed to rain tomorrow too, but I am sure I will make up for it with yard sales as soon as it clears up! As for thrifting- ha- I do that practically on a daily basis!
I will be sure and give my girlfriends a shout on Wednesday too!
Thanks for keeping us up to speed as always!

My daughter and I enjoy S'mores as our "glamping" dessert on our glamping adventures.
We LOVE homemade "marshies" made by our own "calicogirl", MJF chocolate and good grahams.

They are soooooo yummy! Gooey! Dee-lish-ous!!!!
