Posted - Aug 13 2012 : 4:32:13 PM I saw this in a barn in Iowa last September. It was not for sale, or else it would have come home with me. I had never seen one before, and wondered if a lot of folks had them as the US was changing from rural ro town. Isn't it cute? See my blog.

Posted - Aug 17 2012 : 1:55:49 PM My grandfather and uncle and cousins had a farm in Iowa which I visited each summer. They pastuerized and separated all their milk in a big milkroom off the barn. Electric milkers, etc. Had never seen a home one like this! I so wish I could have purchased it. Like I would use it, but I love looking at it.

Posted - Aug 14 2012 : 06:07:58 AM Wow! That IS cool! We milked cows on our farm, but never pasteurized it. I'm very familier with the strainer and separater equipment, though. Thanks for sharing the pic! CJ
