So, I got home quite late on Saturday night (Sunday morning?) I sauntered in around two in the morning, all blurry eyed and very sleepy. I am not a night owl, believe me, early mornings are my thing. I had just come home from a Bruce Springsteen concert. I've loved the man since I was fourteen and I'm going to be forty seven this October (you do the math) I've loved the guy like forever and it was the second time I got to see him. GREAT concert by the way. As I stumbled into the house I saw a package waiting for me that looked to be from MaryJane. I told myself "don't even think about it opening it right now, you need to sleep" as I said, I am not a night owl. So I finally got things settled in the house and finally got to sleep around two. When I woke up that morning I made myself get my work done... sometimes I think I am way too hard on myself, but I can't sit still if I know I have something to do. Finally around ten in the morning, I got to open the box. And my jaw dropped to my toes. Inside was a copy of her new book "Glamping with MaryJane" OH. MY. GOODNESS. I will be honest, I screeched like a banshee, hugged it close to my heart and danced around the room with it!! Girls, believe me when I tell you that you have to get a copy of this wonderful book. I have read through it twice already, it's that amazing. There are so many wonderful ideas, so many things to do. The pictures are awe inspiring and the ideas will speak to your heart, I know they did mine.

MaryJane and Meg, thank you so very much for touching this farmgirls heart. Your kindess in thinking of me will never be forgotten.

hugs
Marcy

Emily,
Don't know if you've seen our "photo journal" threads in Outpost, but my daughter and I do "tent-glamping" . . . and we try to do it in style. We don't have a trailer or the funds to get one, either.
We're getting ready to head off on another adventure together over Labor Day weekend . . YAY!!!

I am trying to be the person my dogs think I am.

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.
