Posted - Aug 24 2012 : 05:33:30 AM I got a nice pile of books for reading, like I said on my blog these are a little out of my usual picks. Probably scare myself to death.

Posted - Aug 26 2012 : 9:09:13 PM I am really getting into a book series by Sarah Graves; Home Repair is Homocide. The books follow the story of a woman who buys "an antique" Federal style home and is in process of fixing it up and helps solve a murder mystery in each of her stories. Very witty and down to earth writing.

Posted - Aug 26 2012 : 4:02:28 PM I recently read Gone Girl and also found it took a bit before I really got into the story. The story takes a turn you just wouldn't expect!

Posted - Aug 26 2012 : 09:55:20 AM Thank You Summer girl for the book suggestion. Always looking for something to read. Tammy, thank you for the ones you listed. As for Gone Girl, I saw it was on the best sellers list. Well I'm not all done reading it yet, but I don't think its one I would say go out and buy it. IT was getting close to page 200 before I thought it was going anywhere. I will finish it today, I'm guessing it must have an ending that I'm not expecting.

Posted - Aug 25 2012 : 11:10:30 PM Nancy Jo let me know what you think of Gone Girl if you read it before me. I read Maine and liked it. If you like that type of book, do you like Elin Hilderbrand or Nancy Thayer? They write some great womens fiction usually set on Cape Cod, Marthas Vineyard, etc. Let me know....I can share!
Can't wait for you to get your sea glass!
Hugs, Tammy
