Yes, happy birthday, Marines, ya'll look good for being 237 years old!

And happy Armistice Day to everyone! It's an important day to remember those we've lost and those who were fortunate enough to come home from war. Pray for the actively serving men and women, and hug a Vet!

thanks to all vets. my brother served 25 years, retired, and now works as a civiian contractor at the same base. Ft. Bragg, NC. adn his wife is a soldier too!
you are so right Marianne, no one values how we got to where we are. we take way too much for granted. i remind myself daily to not be that way. sometimes it is really, really hard.

I don't understand why so few companies give their employees the day off anymore! It seems a shame, we don't value the loss anymore. We take too much for granted.

We owe them our freedom. I always thank the vets I see.

I will honor all Vets- one time at the grocery store a gentleman had a bumper sticker that stated he was a vet...I went up to him and asked if he was the vet and thanked him and ended up chatting with him for about 30 minutes. We owe them so much!
