I was just listening to a Christmas CD by Erin Bode, who is very well known in the St. Louis area, and I LOVE her rendition of "The Holly and the Ivy". She also does a great version of "In the Bleak Mid-winter". So what is your favorite Christmas song?

Love the old Jingle Bells by...Bing Crosby? From the 30s or 40s? Barry Manillow remade the version but I like the original best. :) Also, we are learning Breath of Heaven by Amy Grant for choir this year in three part women's harmony and I think it is one of my new favorites!

The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year by the late Andy Williams. I love all of his music and am so sorry I missed his Christmas show in Branson, Mo. while he was still performing. Wonderful music, wonderful man.

Judy Garland singing "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" breaks my heart. I'm a total sucker for it. :)

If I had to pick a favorite to listen to, it'd be "Carol of the Bells", and the most fun to sing is "Deck the Halls" Though we tend to come up with sillier and sillier versions of "12 days of Christmas" every year too. But I love so many Christmas songs that my favorite depends on which mood I'm in at the moment [:0}

Even though I named my favorite song my Mariah Carey, I really do love them all. There are so many to choose from. But, Mariah's always comes to mind first.

I don't think I can narrow it down to just one. I love Christmas music and the boys and I have started playing it already.

My favorite to perform is Canon de Noel by Joseph Martin. It pairs up The First Noel with Pachelbel's Canon. I rearranged for flute and piano which is gorgeous.

One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain.

I love Christmas music, I'm a sucker for all the Hallmark Christmas movies too, : )

I think my favorites are White Christmas and O Holy Night. But honestly, I love them all.
Will have to check out some mentioned here that seem new ones to me.

I like all Christmas songs. Some of my favorites are Christmas Cookies, Do they Know It's Christmastime, Brenda Lee's Little Blue Bell, and Love on Layaway, but my very favorite song is one that I remember from when I was a child. It's called Ol' Fatso.

My favorites are the all time classics "White Christmas" and "I'll be Home for Christmas". And for the newer songs....U-2's "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)", Bandaid's "Do They Know it's Christmas Time", Sarah MacLachlan's "Winter Song" and Matt Wertz's "Snow Globe". One thing I do not like is when the stores play "Christmas" rap music.....YUCK!

Cindy, I love "The Holly and the Ivy", but I love them all. Just today, I was singing and playing Christmas songs on the piano. I really like "Angels From the Realm of Glory".
