Ok, so what's a farmgirl to do when there is a 'cookie thief' in the house?
I had coffee with kpaints & Dairyprincess yesterday.... both kpaints & I received a tin of goodies from Dairyprincess.... Later that day, when I finally had a moment to myself, I opened my little tin....when to my shock...this is what I found!

Kristina,

No special reason for the yellow M&M's. I just like the color I guess.
Told you all I was nuts! LOL! Why do you think the squirrels hang out at my house? My sweet grandaughter of 8 told me I like the yellow M&Ms because I pretend they are sunshine rays. And they make me full of sunshine. I believe she heard a couple at our church refer to me as our church's ray of sunshine.

I love to make people smile! Better than frowning huh?

What was hysterical, was the fact I could not for the life of me figure out what the letters meant in KATMOMS posting. Then when she told me, I laughed my backside off. Well maybe that was an exaggeration due to the fact I passed my mirror a few minutes ago, and unfortunately I see the big thing still dragging behind me. I don't know why it follows me everywhere I go. LOL!

Love you farmsisters! All of you make my day!

HA ha ha ha ha ha! Hilarious.

What do you save the yellow M&M's for? I made a fried egg candy every Christmas with them. :)

KATMOM!

Hysterical! You are the funny one. Love it!
We did make it to Wally World for Oreo's and M&M's and on to KFC for chicken.

I have the worlds greatest hubby! He is a hoot to live with. After 41 years, he still makes me giggle. LOL!

Big Buzz said you farmsisters are going to think I am nuts! I said "No, no they won't think it, they already know it". I just tell it like it is. LOL!

Blessings and happy fun ones at that!
A smile on your face, puts the joy in my heart!

Confession Time:
Only because "Big Buzz" is threatening to sting me if I don't tell. As well, he is looking over my shoulder this very moment.

Okay, here it is. Trust me, I have only done this once.

1975, I was very, very pregnant. The day before my daughter was born,
I began craving Oreo cookies like a mad woman. So I decided to pour myself a tall glass of milk. (Okay, it was a very tall glass of milk..
an ice-tea size glass of milk) I then perched myself in my favorite rocking chair and lovingly placed the opened bag of Oreo cookies next to me. As I began to rock, I would occasionally reach over and pluck out a cookie and nibble away at it. Soon, my nibbling turned into grazing, which in turn after a few hours, turned into an all out attack of war on that package of cookies.

All of a sudden, I hear darling hubby's car pull into the garage.

Next thing I know, I am running to hide the empty..Yes, I said empty package deep into the trash as far as my short stubby arms would allow. In walks my darling hubby. I greeted him with a short little kiss on the cheek.(Not wanting him to smell my cookie laden breath.) LOL~!
He just kept looking at me, and telling me how beautiful I looked. I thought to myself, Aw! he knows just the right thing to say to his now miserable pregnant wife.

After about 15 minutes, he wanders off into the kitchen in search of a snack while waiting for me to prepare his wonderful dinner of Fried Chicken and all the works.

He then returns back into the other room, and asked me the dreaded question.. " Hey Debbie, where are those Oreo cookies we bought at the store the night before?" Well, how was I suppose to know? So like a nut I pretended to look through the cupboards, secretly, hoping that maybe, just maybe, there might be another package forgotten about. But, no, no such luck. Finally, I turned to him, and suggested, he fix himself a peanutbutter sandwich to hold him over. He, once again, looked me in the face, and sweetly suggested that if I did not know where those cookies were, I might want to go to the bathroom, take a look in the mirror, and see what all that dark stuff was hanging off my pearlie whites. I raced into the bathroom, took a quick look and screamed as if I had encountered a ghost. When I turned around, there he stood grinning like a fat cat who found a prize in the aquarium. Feeling totally foolish, and yet still wanting to come out of this situation with my dignity, I simply looked him straight into his beautiful hazel eyes and told him, "He should have bought a familyl size package of Oreo cookies, then there would have been enough for the family." ( Him, Me, and our unborn child.)

I rushed into the kitchen, pretending, I was in a hurry to fix that fried chicken, when all of a sudden my unborn child decided she did not like Oreo cookies. She turned my stomach every which way she could. Then she decided to really show her disgust, by kicking me hard, breaking my water. Twelve hours and one c-section later I gave
birth to a beautiful 10lb. 2oz. baby girl. Feeling all proud, and still having a full stomach of Oreo cookies, I look over at the proud papa, and I thought to myself, "He may not have had his Oreo's or his fried chicken, but, he did get his baby girl." Now, how is that for redemption? LOL!

Now I have confessed, and Big Buzz, still standing and looking over my shoulder as I write this, has asked if I would like to pick up some Oreo's and fried chicken for old time sake? I said sure.. Why not? However, I was quick to let him know, there would be no bouncing baby girl at the end of the day. LOL!

Gee, I feel renewed, refreshed, and born again after that big confession. Thanks "Big BUzz."

Off to Wally world for some Oreo's and KFC for chicken. Wish all of you could come with me. Big Buzz just commented he wants to buy more M&M's. Now, all of you know..Buzzn Bee is going to capture those yellow ones. One way or another they will be mine! LOL!

Hugs and Giggles!

Ah! You have to give those hubbies an A for trying to sneak one past
us on occasion. Wives are just naturally born detectives. LOL!

Most of the time..when something goes on in our home, and Big Buzz doesn't want to confess, he will laugh and blame it on my twin brother whom lives in Tampa Florida. My brother does the same to Skip (Big Buzz) in his own household. For the fun of it, at times I will call up my twin brother and ask him where is such and such. He will just laugh and make a stab at guessing. LOL!

Oh well, gotta love the poor souls. LOL!

Extra! Extra! Read all about it!!!!

Buzzn Bee (aka Debbie H.) has found that DH also known as "Big Buzz"
has been hiding his own little secret stash. M&M Peanuts! Also known
to be one of Buzzn Bee's favorite candies. The candy stash was located in a very seldom used cooking kettle located on a bakers rack in..yep! you guessed it! Buzzn Bee's very own kitchen.

Some of you may wonder how Buzzn Bee located this stash. All we know
at this time, Buzzn Bee made a comment to the media.."It is amazing how wet noodles can make a sneaky husband run. Unfortunately "Big Buzz" was unable to out run the long arm of the "Bee Swatter."

Last report, "Big Buzz" was looking for honey to soothe his swat marks, and Buzzn Bee? Well lets just say, the Yellow M&M's are her
favorite. LOL!

Wow, those look really good. I would take a few of those myself. I went to that blog and it's amazing. I now have a new favorite. We are getting ready to butcher some lambs and will have to try her lamb recipes soon. Thanks for the link. And don't eat all those at once!

buzzn bee Posted - Dec 05 2012 : 10:08:59 AM
There has got to be a way to stop our hubbies from stealing our
goodies, or at best a severe type of punishment for taking without asking. LOL! I have got just the thing. Now, where is my jar of wet noodles? Time to chase hubby around the room, and threaten him bodily harm with the wet noodles, for he also steals from me. LOL!

Or maybe I will break out my big electrical bee swatter and give "Big Buzz" (My hubby) a swat or two. Okay, maybe 3 or 4 swatts. LOL!

I must be honest and admit, those treats look so delicious, I might be tempted to buzz by and help myself. LOL! Yummy! Now don't go hanging up fly paper to try and stop me, my antenna's keep me under the radar.

I want a cookie!

Grace, I had to laugh when I saw the missing candy! That would happen at my house, also! So funny.
