Posted - Dec 11 2012 : 11:52:45 AM Oh, girls - I feel like I have received works of art! I had asked CJ to make me a couple of her aprons, and now I think I am going to have to ask for more (after the holidays, of course!)! Check out the lovely LOVELY collage apron and red and black apron she created for me! CJ - you have totally outdone yourself! I feel like a little kid on Christmas morning! These are just so beautiful, of such wonderful quality... I can definitely feel the love and meticulous detail put into every stitch and every inch of your design! Maybe someday you'll expand your business to curtains? Someday, I would love to feature a pair of CeeJay collage cafe curtains with a coordinating CeeJay collage swag valance in my kitchen window!
CJ - I honestly do not think you have any idea what an amazing gift and talent you have! You GO girl! I am so grateful and honored to have these beautiful aprons, my friend. You are an absolute blessing in every way, and it is such a wonderful feeling to have part of you with me in the kitchen every day! It's not nearly as good as having you stop by to visit and share a cup of tea, of course, but it sure does feel like a warm hug of CJ goodness! Thank you SO much! You're the best! Hugs and love - Nini

Posted - Dec 12 2012 : 03:02:49 AM I do love them both, but I am partial to the black apron. I love the bias tape all around it. So crisp looking. Enjoy the Nini, you will be quite fetching while you pantomine cooking up a storm! Marianne |

Posted - Dec 11 2012 : 7:30:17 PM Well, Grace, ya knooooow... You could always buy some premade foods, don your apron, boil some water, bang some pots and pans around in the kitchen, then, wiping your brow, call your family in for a "home cooked" meal! <wink> <wink> LOL!!! I know what you mean, though - just looking at these beautiful aprons makes the whole cooking thing seem just that much more special!!! I may burn dinner, but DANG, I'm going to look very fancy doing it! LOL!
I'm so glad you all like them, too, girls! I agree, Laurie - the half apron is my absolute favorite! They're so pretty - almost too pretty to use! I will definitely be collecting more!
Love you, too, Deb!!! Love CJ... Love you ALL! We are so blessed to have each other, aren't we? There is just nothing like our wonderful farmgirl sisterhood!!!
Hugs -

Posted - Dec 11 2012 : 12:18:23 PM Nini- Those aprons ARE beautiful. My favorite is the half apron- in fact I am wiping the drool off my keyboard as I type! No doubt about it- our CJ is ONE TALENTED LADY! She could definately open a store with aprons, curtains and the like and become and overnite sensation! You are a lucky girl! Love them! Hugs,

Posted - Dec 11 2012 : 12:02:27 PM LOL! That's exactly where I'm going with this, Debbie - I think I'm going to be collecting these beautiful aprons for years to come! I pray someday I'll have lots of granddaughters to share them with! :) Last year, she made a couple of adorable aprons for the little girls I was babysitting... they STILL love them, and bring them over with them whenever we get together for cooking, baking and crafting! Their Mom tells me they wear them at home all the time! I'm starting them early! ;) They're supposed to be coming over Thursday after school to make Christmas gifts - I can't wait for them to see these! They'll definitely fall in love with them as much as I have! Hugs - Nini
