As some of you know, after keeping us updated on Debbie Horn's (Buzzn bee)progress after she had surgery, her husband "Big Buzz" became near and dear to our hearts and we adopted him as farmbrother. Now, Big Buzz is a good guy and all, but as most of us know, brothers can be little stinkers at times.
If you caught her thread, you will know that a while back CJ was having some problems with a mouse in her house. Big Buzz took it upon himself to taunt and tease her about this, which started a little "war" between the two of them. (If you didn't catch it, I will repost the thread with the message Big Buzz left for CJ at the end of this thread.)
CJ is one tough farmgirl, and she can handle her own, but after conversing with her, we decided that Big Buzz needs to know that when he messes with one farmgirl, he messes with us all!
To show some farmgirl support I am asking that between Feb. 25th and March 2nd, you send a mouse to Big Buzz. It can be handmade, boughten, or even just a card with a mouse on it. We need to show Big Buzz that we are a force to be reckoned with. Also, maybe a friendly little prank to chase away some of these winer blues is exactly what we need! If you are interested in participating (which I hope you are! :) please e-mail me and I will give you the address! Let's have some fun with this!

ATTENTION ALL FARMSISTERS! You muast read this posting to find out how Ceejay got one over on her farmbrother Big Buzz. YAY!!! for you Ceejay! Let me explain a little. First of all, to those of you who remember an earlier posting from Ceejay regarding her trying to catch the mouse that decided to homestead in her pantry. Long story short,
my darling hubby Skip aka Big Buzz decided he would take on Ceejay and tease and aggravate her by sending little pictures of mice and adding his 2 cents of editorial comments. He begin making humorous threats about sending mice to her house etc. Little did he know his comments would come back to bite him. Again, YAY! CEEJAY!
Now don't get me wrong, I love this man of mine.. but in all farmsister honesty he is getting what he deserved. She upt him ten fold on this. The following pictures will tell the story. Keep in mind,Big Buzz loves his candy and snacks.
Ceejay, you did us gals proud! The winner in this round is CeejaY!
Our dear Ceejay sent Big Buzz, candy, a sweet card, mouse food, aka Cheez-Its, 2 mouse traps and yes our little apronista sent him his very own mouse. LOL! Girls it doesn't get any better than this. This is absolutely hysterical. I wish all of you could have seen the precious look on his face when he opened his package from her. Still, when I think of it, I laugh so hard, I almost wet my farmgirl pantaloons. LOL!

Ceejay, I really appreciate all the gifts, especially those that feed the hungry growl in my stomach. When first opening these thoughtful gifts, I thought, how nice and kind of my farmsister to think of me. Even shared with Debbie aka Buzzn Bee, that you did not need to do this. Next thing I know after feeling the love from my sister, out falls mice traps and a mouse. I am a big boy, I will admit, yes, you did get me on this one, but remember, the teasing of big brothers can be and will be without any mercy shown. In an earlier e-mail I threw down the gauntlet to let you know the war is on, and I intend to come out of this victorious! I am gathering up my army. I have included pictures..not to intimidate you, but to show you I mean business. So, tell me dear sister..Are you up to it? Think you can win round #2. If so bring it on! Meanwhile, I thank you for the gifts and special thoughts! Let me introduce my friends. They can't wait to get to know you.
Admit it..You are shivering with fear. LOL!
In spite of all of your shananigans..I still love you farmsister.

Oh yeah, I know where Debbie's candy is hidden. Also, you really did do a beautiful job on the journal you made for her. She loves it and is anxious to start writing.

My sweet and faithful farm sisters.
Thank you so much for your many many prayers for our sweet little Poochie. We are as surprised as the Vet that she is still with us.
We know her time is close, She is sleeping more than she is awake, and she is not wanting to eat or drink. This is really crushing my heart. The worse part for me is having to look at my sweet hubby. His heart is so broken.
Thursday we have promised that we will have a date night, and we are going to start by opening these many packages. We apologize for waiting so long. I know Curiosity is getting to Big Buzz, He keeps shaking the box from Ceejay, and telling me this is the one package he does not trust. LOL!
We have so much catching up to do. We sincerely apologize for being slow pokes. Please forgive us.
Until tomorrow, We send all of you big hugs and many blessings. (of course we will send more tomorrow.) LOL!

Our Dear Farmsisters,
Big Buzz and I have returned home after staying a week at my parents lake cottage. Big Buzz wanted to take his beloved "Poochie" there one last time. She made the trip, and seemed to enjoy laying by the Lake.
Our Vet told us this morning that he cannot believe she is still living. However, her back legs are now totally gone. He said the time for her passing is very close. It is breaking our hearts to pieces, but we know it will be best for her. This little one week trip helped Big Buzz as well. He came back ready to tackle all of his mail. But after hearing of the passing of Ceejay's Mother-in-law, and out of respect for her and her family, he has decided to wait until they return from Tuscan and Ceejay has time to rest and gather her wits.
Big Buzz wanted to let whoever sent a package with the name Don Chums in the return address from Charlottesville, VA has arrived. He will open it when he opens his package from Ceejay upon her return.
We thank all of you for your prayers which have touched our hearts in a very big way. You girls are the greatest. We love you! If you don't
mind, please continue to pray for Poochie to have a peaceful passing
when indeed the time comes.
Big Buzz said to tell all of you he is sending big buzz hugs to each of you.

Hey! Hey! Farmsisters,
Big Buzz and I are fine. We have really been going through a lot this past week or so. We have a family pet dog whom our grandson Tyler now 17 named "Poochie" when he was about 2-3 years old. Poochie is a black lab with a personality as big as the out-doors. She was brought to our home as a companion for our grandson. Tyler had a twin sister our beloved granddaughter who passed away. The day of her funeral he received "Poochie." Big Buzz was crazy over his grandchildren and our
granddaughter had BIg Buzz wrapped tight around all ten of her little fingers. Poochie ended up living in our home all these years. Her poor little body is just plain worn out. She has been a faithful companion to Big Buzz. Long story short, her health took a severe turn for the worse, and it was recommended that Big Buzz put her down. My poor hubby has made two attempts at taking her to the vet and having her put down. Both times this past week, he has brought her back home. He just cannot do it. Nor will he let anyone else do it. He said each time he tries to, he thinks of our little granddaughter and he just can't. So for now, Poochie is still with us and requires a lot of care. The vet has assured us she is in no pain.
But at this time she cannot walk. Skip aka Big Buzz has elected to let her live out her life and unless she is in pain, he will let nature take its course. He loves her as does the entire family.
We really appreciate your understanding at this time. Big Buzzz has received several packages from some of you. I have sent each of you and e-mail and you have been so understanding why he is waiting a little while longer to open. He also has several packages ready to mail out to some of you as well. He asked me to say hello and to let all of his kinfolk (farm sisters) know that he loves you and will be back soon. He also said to let you know the battle has just begun and
that he still plans to come out victorious!
Please keep our beloved "Poochie" in your prayers.
