DH and I looked them up on wiki-pedia, and though I still think some of the scenarios are at least set-up or enhanced, the premise is actually TRUE! Google Phil Robertson, and you'll see a VERY CLEAN-CUT college guy! He taught English and played NFL Football, where Terry Bradshaw was HIS back up! Phil even said that he pretty much went to college just to prove that even though he looks like a redneck, he's not stupid. He also truly DOES live by the values he exhibits on the show. They are very religious - even one of his 6 or 7 brothers is a minister... and the only one without a beard! He did start the business in a shed in the backyard, did receive a patent, and did built a multi-million dollar enterprise.

It's an amazing story... I hope they write a book.

Our family loves that show. They seem like such a down to earth family and I also like that we can watch it with the kids without having to worry.

I too dig it. It's a bit "staged" even though it's "non-scripted," but A & E does that a lot. I don't care, I still find it entertaining, and if it makes me laugh that's all that matters.

I like the episode where Miss Kay needed an apron and Si ended up making it for her. Oh and yes, of course the infamous "sword" episode.
Great show and really awesome family.

We love the beards at our house! I grew up in a family business so the different values between the generations and the sibling rivalry rings true with me. All of the characters are usually funny so it's hard for me to pick a favorite. One thing is for sure...this show would't be the same without any one of them.

Cheers! ~ Marilyn

A&E on Wednesday nights- but sometimes they have like a rerun night and it plays for a few hours! So darn funny- still laughing now about Uncle Si breaking Willie's sword!! My dad would have loved, loved, loved this show and I have no doubt he is laughing as hard in heaven as I am here. Would have loved to have had the chance to watch it with him!!

What station is this Duck Dynasty on? I don't watch a lot of TV, but if it is funny I would like to see it.

I don't really watch a lot of TV, but they had reruns last night- I laughed so hard and for so long. I was home alone and just laughed and laughed- and I love at the end of the shows they sit and have a meal together and Phil prays. This show does make me happy happy happy!!

Love this show. Just something about this family. Funny, but such good nuggets of wisdom in there too.

our family loves Duck Dynasty! I is a good family show & they are great people with good family morals/values. I recently purchased their book The Duck Commander Family, it is written by Will & Korie about the family. Good book as well! My son(10yrs) wants to go to Louisianna on vacation & see if we can find the Robertsons! lol
