Our electric bill has been climbing the last few months. I am wondering how you all save money in that area.

I seen the solar panel devices that have different adapters on them for charging phones, mp3. etc..... Has anyone used them? I am hoping to unplug the dozens of chargers that are plugged in around the house.

It seems like the kids have every charger they own plugged in. And I know this is a huge energy waster.

I would love for some ideas in this area. We have been working towards self-sufficiency, but the electric bill is still our main monthly bill.

Thanks
Arttie

I like to recharge my cell phone & laptop at the library or at one of the places I go to meet friends for coffee. The cell phone charges easily in my truck with a cheapie adapter for the cigarette lighter.
