We had a line of storms come through this evening that caused a lot of damage. No deaths reported, bu the high school my cousin attended (she just graduated) was badly damaged. Heard they had it even worse in Oklahoma. We had sirens going off this evening and I got Jaxon and headed for the basement. The wind blew and ther was some hail but I didn't lose power. Now the danger is from flash flooding as it continues to rain throughout the night. The river is already at flood stage and the ferries north of here have closed. It's supposed to rain all night. I drove home in the pouring rain last night and I was on a stretch of highway where there were no lights. It was really kind of scary. I hope everyone who is affected by these storms takes shelter if they get bad and be careful. Sending special prayers to Oklahoma and Arkansas.

Cindy, so glad you are safe. Praying for all those affected by these storms. It has been quite a year already and the warmer weather has hardly started.

Mary Beth, so sorry for the damages that you have suffered but glad that you are okay.

O, a trouble's a ton or a trouble's an ounce,
Or a trouble is what you make it!
And it isn't the fact that you're hurt that counts,
But only--how did you take it?

Finally checking in again. Just haven't had time. We are fine. It has just been awful around here. I can't believe these tornadoes. It just doesn't seem to stop. We have finally gotten an adjuster here at our house and the roof is totaled. Garage door damaged, fence destroyed and our favorite big trees are twisted wrecks, but overall not bad. We now have electricity, although it can be a bit sporadic. My friend in El Reno went through the 2.6 mile tornado Friday night. Her son works for the vo tech that was destroyed. What a mess.

I'm so glad you're all right, Cindy! I am praying for Oklahoma and Arkansas, too. I pray Mary Beth and her loved ones are safe, especially. This has just got to be overwhelming beyond words for all those afflicted by these tornadoes and storms. God love, bless, protect, comfort and save them. Hugs - Nini
