I guess it started in 1982 when someone wrote "practice random acts of kindness and sensless acts of beauty" on their placemat in a Californina restaurant. From these simple beginnings, the idea began to spread by bumper stickers, radio stations, newspapers and good old word of mouth. Then it gained more momentum with the 1993 publication "Random Acts of Kindness" featuring true stories of RAOK.
Make RAOK a sustained part of everyday life!
