Posted - Mar 04 2007 : 2:51:54 PM Thought I'd share some of the images from the cottage garden ..flowers that have sprouted up since October 2006...enjoy! And thanks to Babs for the gladiola type bulb..the purple and white flower..a type of gladiola..I forget the name..it starts with an "A"...the other flowers are cosmos and lunnaria. then a ruby crowned kinglet bird that visits outside my kitchen window.
Anyhow wanted to share those with you all.
you can see them all here:

Wanted to let you know that yes indeed I do have a farmgal garden now (some seeds shared by farmgals here, and some seeds I planted myself) and intend to add even more to it this year.
hugs, Tina

Posted - Mar 05 2007 : 06:06:38 AM glad that you all liked them..just think..Spring will be coming soon! it wound up getting a bit chilly here too last night..but things like the maple trees have seeds and buds on them...
the drake elm is starting to put out tiny sprigs of new growth..I just love that tree! it's a lovely sight in the Spring with all of the new fresh light green growth!(I have one outside my kitchen window..every Fall it loses all of it's leaves...yes, even in Florida some of the trees go totally bare)
well...I'm glad I have given you all the planting bug..LOL can't wait to see what you gals grow.
hugs, Tina

Thank you for sharing the pretty pictures, I look forward to more as the season deepens.
