Posted - Mar 05 2007 : 12:29:47 PM I just heard on the news where a student in Tacoma, WA, reported seeing another student being pulled into a van against his will this morning. There was no license number given, just that it was a blue van.
Please pray for the students safety; he was approx 5 years old (kindergarten age.)
The school is trying to match absent students by calling parents to see who's got their child at home; some parents haven't updated their information, however, and many numbers have been disconnected or the cell phones aren't working. (A good reminder for all of us to keep things current!)

Posted - Mar 06 2007 : 1:02:45 PM That's for sure. If more people would report things like that, even if they aren't sure, maybe we would have less missing children. When my son was 8ish he would walk to school sometimes, straight up the road, maybe 5 blocks or so. One day after he left I had a bad feeling and went to check on him and saw a white car near him and when I got to him he told me this man in the car had asked him if he wanted a ride. He was about a block from school. By that time the car was gone, I went searching for it but never could find it. There's some sick people in this world, sure didn't seem to be near this bad when I was a child in the 50's and 60's. Cheryl

Posted - Mar 06 2007 : 12:54:15 PM Oh, I do hope this was just a mistake. Better to report something and be wrong than to not report it at all. Bless that child who reported it and did what was right. |

Posted - Mar 06 2007 : 10:27:03 AM They cancelled the Amber Alert on this one. They weren't missing any kids from area schools or daycares or anything. They're thinking the boy who saw this misinterpreted what he saw although I don't see how you misinterpret something like that. Cheryl
