Posted - Mar 10 2007 : 08:29:01 AM Sorry to be ignorant, but need to know. Is there a difference between Borax and 20 Mule Team Borax? I am in Canada, and at the grocery store did see the Borax in the cleaning supply isle. Other farmgirls are talking about the 20 MTB, and I am left wondering.... If there is a difference, could someone please tell me what they are? Thanks, MJ

Posted - Mar 11 2007 : 06:57:19 AM yes, it's one in the same.Been around since 1891 & in my opinion it's the best thing out there. There will be a covered wagon on the box being pulled by mules inbetween the name.

Posted - Mar 10 2007 : 09:01:45 AM EmmJay, I believe Boraxo is the brand name for a product made of Borax. 20 Mule Team borax is 100% borax and not harmful to washing machines or septic tankes and contains no phosphorus. It is safe. Go www.dialcorp.com they are now the owners of 20 mule team.
