Hey y'all...I just started a top 100 list called Farm Divas. I'm certain that there are a few of you here If you're a blogging Farm Diva, why not check it out and add your blog or website to the list?

You need to have at least one vote to show up, so be certain to vote for yourself once you've signed up. And you'll need to put a link on your blog/site (it's just a simple link, I've no clue how to do the banner stuff.)

Garlic, if you've got the link, just click it from your site. That click takes you to the list, which then registers it as a vote. Too easy to wrap one's mind around, really, as we're always looking for the VOTE button.

If I were smarter, I'd make a button that says VOTE for everyone to put up. But alas, geekiness is not one of my attributes. Strange, weird, different, marches to the beat of a different drummer...just not geek. However, when the Geek Boy is home from school this weekend he's promised to teach me how to do that kind of thing (no, he hasn't promised, but I'm going to forcefully request it )

Cheryl, I'm totally clueless as to those numbers as well! I've tried finding information on them, but haven't so far. Yes, you can rate more than one site.

As for what a Farm Diva is...well, it's one of us glamourous farm(ish) girls! The name rather popped into my mind as I was posting about my farm girl spa, and referred to myself as a farm diva. Of course, there are pics of my loverly morning outfit when I head outside to feed the critters, and I'm not thinking it's an outfit that will land me on the red carpet of any awards show

Ann, I'm not sure how involved a process you want, but Bravenet offers free websites, or you can purchase them to avoid the advertising. I've got a freebie at http://wildaboutquietstorm.com , take a peek and see if it's something you'd like. You can select from a number of templates, then just type the info into the boxes. Super simple (and for my purposes, the ads are no big deal; I don't even see them because they're at the top of so many pages these days.)

Forrester Farm Posted - Mar 15 2007 : 1:44:17 PM
I'd love to be listed, but need to get something online for Forrester Farm first. I don't think that Taste of Home Entertaining will count for this one.

Who has built thier own website? Any suggestions? Would love to feature the handcrafted botanical products that I make, flowers/herbs, and wedding floral services. I will get my etsy site up soon and plan on getting listed with Local Harvest.

By the way, dumb question, what's a farm diva? What does it mean when you see "in" and "out" and the different numbers. I voted for one but didn't see any numbers change on it.

Can we rate more than one site even if we rate them all the same, like a 10?

I'll have to have my husband help to get it on your list as I'm not exactly sure how to do that and to set a link back to your list. So, he'll help with that. Thanks!
