Feb 19 is the due date for our family milk cow. I am so looking forward to real milk again. She is starting to bag and get ready. Next month will be the beef girls time to calve.

Eli is doing well. He has 1 sister and 3 brothers now. I will add a picture off my phone later. It always amazes me how fast they start eating hay and chewing cud. He is also getting most of mommas milk, so getting big.

I've had Michele's farm fresh milk and it is delicious. It also doesn't taste like anything we buy in the stores. Michele is lucky we live 6+ hours away from her or she would need to add another milking cow to the farm!

I have never had the pleasure of tasting fresh milk, only what is bought in a store. I imagine it is heavenly.
A day hemmed in prayer is less likely to unravel.

Saved milk yesterday morning. Ahhhhh so good. Had two glasses with supper. lol Cream in my coffee this morning too.

I hope your calf's arrival in a few days goes safely. Please post a photo of the new arrival so we can all see. Baby calves are adorable as are most all animal babies.
