We celebrated Bexten's 1st birthday over the weekend and I just have to share some pictures. Because he is my last child to turn one I wanted to go all out and decided on a "Holy cow I'm one" theme. For his decorations I used some calligraphy that I have been working on for the calligraphy badge. I got so many compliments. It felt awesome to showcase another thing I have learned from MaryJanes Farm!

Happy Birthday, Bexton! My birthday is Feb. 24. . .so we are Birthday Buddies! Your Mom did an awesome job on your party theme! So very cute! Her calligraphy looks wonderful! Food looks sooo good!

Thank you Sheila! Yes, we have a large immediate family and had around 35 people over. There wasn't much left over and then I also sent some home with my family.

Thanks Heather! It was bitter sweet when we cut the cake lol! It was too pretty to cut but really delicious and worth it.

What fun!!!! And your signs turned out fantastic! I'd almost hate to eat the cake as awesome as it looks. I can't believe Bexten is 1 already - how time flies!!!!!! He sure is a cutie :)

Thank you everyone! It was such a fun party and I really enjoyed making all the decorations and everything for the party. I love being able to share these moments with you all.
Oh goodness Linda! I wish I could say I made the cake. I actually had it made for his party. I tried playing around with some fondant back in January and realized I need a lot more practice lol! Maybe one day I can make a pretty cake like that.

I love the calligraphy! I have always had bad handwriting and have noticed it has worsened since I mostly type on the computer.
