Goals are something we strive to achieve and if we fall short, we are still ahead of where we started.

My goals are simple this year, only three.

Hang on to my peace by drawing closer to the Lord.

Eat foods that are good for me.

Move more, like walking & gardening.

Those are my goals. What does the coming New Year mean to you?

Thank you for the prayers and good wishes. The first week after chemo was too easy. Then the second week hit. Trying to stay positive. I think I have finally convinced DH that he is me for the duration.

Judith - glad you have a wonderful nurse! Praying the chemo rids you of cancer and that it isn't too hard on you. Big hug!

Thinking of you Judith, I pray things go well for you. I don't really set goals for the year. I agree with alot of everyones goals though. I think I would like to take more time for myself, something I don't make time for.

Thank you all for your prayers. I spent today at the hospital getting yet another biopsy. Chemo starts next Tuesday. It's been a while since I've had hospital experiences but nurses are sure a lot nicer than they used to be. I had the sweetest nurse that remembered me from my previous visit.

Judith, adding my prayers for your healing as you go through some treatments for cancer.

I have not figured out quite what my new year resolutions are as I have been tossing around lots of ideas. I want to give this a lot of proper thought so that whatever I decide to do, I stick with it and make progress in my own growth.

I am working on loose ends this year.
Getting the ranch and our affairs in order.
We updated our Trust & Wills.
Doing house & barn repairs.
Reorganizing and Downsizing.
One fun thing I started years ago in our Brentwood Farm Girl Chapter group is we make a list of 12 UFO's fir the year and each month we roll the dice or pick a number. Then you have one month to finish that item.
You list can be simple or hard. Items like finish a project or read a book. Maybe go to lunch with a friend or in my case chop a cord of wood to finish a badge lol.

My 2025 goals are to have a better mental outlook in life. To appreciate what the good Lord has given me and to show more kindness to others. Oh and control my anxiety (this is a big one)

You have some great goals, Sara. I haven’t really thought about it much yet, but easy to follow is good.

For me, I’d like to:
Finish quilts and other UFO projects
Eat healthier and exercise more to lose weight
Travel on short and long trips, near and far

Blessed in Colorado Posted - Dec 27 2024 : 7:05:15 PM
I am still thinking but:
I need to eat better to loose weight.
