What is your favorite board game? Now that my kids are older and have a better understanding of more complex game rules we have been trying to branch out to some new games! Last Christmas we bought Catan and have really enjoyed playing it. This year we bought Ticket To Ride. The kids just can't get enough of it lol! And I really enjoy it myself. Any other suggestions for us to look into next? Bonus points if a 2 year old can play it too, but most of the time he just plays with his own set of dice while we play. So that is not required.

Debbie we played the game 2 times and I just can't manage to stay alive lol! I lose all my house points before anyone else!
Ginny, I haven't heard of Everdell. I will have to look that one up.
Joan, we have a couple different themes as well, but more like 5 lol! Which theme is your favorite?
Nancy, we purchased a mini magnetic Sorry game awhile back for the kids. They really like it. They are good for travel. Have you ever seen those tiny magnet games?

We like Yahtzee and card games because they are so portable. With all of the hockey travel that we do the games have to be small enough to fit in the carry-on bags!

My favorite board game is Monopoly. I must have at least 15 different themes of them. I actually collect them. Expensive at time. LOL

Ryan and I love playing Everdell. The little animals are super cute and it is fun to play with just the two of us. It can be played with up to 4, I believe, but the most we've played with is 3. Mostly its just me and Ry. Apples To Apples is a fun and funny game too, if there are quite a few people involved.

Oh Krista, y’all will have so much fun and enjoy playing. Hubby and I are 70 and our Son Kent is 50, and we really like playing it. A great family game.

Debbie, I just bought the Harry Potter Clue! The kids are so excited to play it for the first time. Honestly, I am pretty excited myself! I saw it was on sale and just couldn't pass it up. Thank you for the idea!

For Christmas we were gifted Ticket To Ride Sails and Rails. It is such a fun game! I highly recommend it. Especially if you already enjoy Ticket to Ride. I enjoy the larger world map rather than just the United States.

We purchased the Harry Potter Monopoly and the kids absolutely love it! I definitely recommend this version of Monopoly. It's been fun.

Linda, I do not like to play Risk lol! I really struggle with understanding that game and my husband is very good at it. So much so that he takes the fun out of it for me because he takes it so seriously lol!

Harry Potter clue sounds interesting. And I never heard of Farm Monopoly. We played a lot of word games. Scrabble and upwards. And Monopoly and Risk.
Also chess. Got good and started beating my father. Lol!

I have played a lot of Monopoly buti like the word games, and Yahtzee and scrabble.
I always like Clue a lot too!
I like going to Game Night at Church, we play that a lot!

We do love Monopoly. We actually have a farming edition that the kids really love.
Michele, it has been years since I have played Score Four. My parents had one from when they were younger that we would play. I will have to teach my kids that game.
