What is your favorite board game? Now that my kids are older and have a better understanding of more complex game rules we have been trying to branch out to some new games! Last Christmas we bought Catan and have really enjoyed playing it. This year we bought Ticket To Ride. The kids just can't get enough of it lol! And I really enjoy it myself. Any other suggestions for us to look into next? Bonus points if a 2 year old can play it too, but most of the time he just plays with his own set of dice while we play. So that is not required.

Linda, I do not like to play Risk lol! I really struggle with understanding that game and my husband is very good at it. So much so that he takes the fun out of it for me because he takes it so seriously lol!

Harry Potter clue sounds interesting. And I never heard of Farm Monopoly. We played a lot of word games. Scrabble and upwards. And Monopoly and Risk.

Also chess. Got good and started beating my father. Lol!

We do love Monopoly. We actually have a farming edition that the kids really love.

Michele, it has been years since I have played Score Four. My parents had one from when they were younger that we would play. I will have to teach my kids that game.

As far back as I can remember my parents invited friends and co-workers with no nearby family over for Thanksgiving. After dinner the table was cleared and the Monopoly game came out. It was adults only but us kids watched and wished we were old enough to play. When we all grew up we still met for Thanksgiving at Mom and Dad's every year and Monopoly continued on to the third generation. When Dad passed at almost 104 the house was sold and everyone scattered to the four winds but my son has continued the tradition with his kids and their families.

Monopoly was my favorite game growing up , especially in the long hot summer. We could go to someone's basement, where it was cooler sitting on the floor and play during the long hot hours of the afternoon. I remember games continuing from the afternoon to a friend's house where I spent the night. It was the BEST Monopoly game that entire summer!

When the grandkids come over, they get out the checkers, and score four games. They also love to play battleship.

Debbie, I had no idea there was a Harry Potter Clue!! That is definitely a game we will be getting. I think my kids would love Clue.

Linda and Judith, we will have to try Scrabble soon. Everleigh is still new to reading and spelling so it may be a tiny bit difficult for her.

Karen, my kids love Yahtzee. We play that one a lot, but we don't have Sorry. I will have to get that one.

Heather, we have both of those games! The kids have played them for years now. We will have to get them out and teach Bexten. He's at the perfect age for them.

I don't know if they make them anymore - it's been a long time since I've looked at games - but when I was young we loved to play candy land and chutes and ladders.

We love Catan and play it all the time. This year I bought Harry Potter Clue. Remember Clue? What a fun game it was and simple. Harry Potter Clue is just as fun.
