Just a wee bit of the Luck o'r the Irish!

I do not have a single drop of Irish blood, but I still like to put up a few things for my Irish friends!

(fyi" the top mini shamrock quilt was made for me by Linda-quiltee)

btw, I found this 36x36 quilt topper at our local Thrift for $4.99,
after St. Patty's Day, I will leave this quilt out for Easter. But for now, the Shamrock mini is on top...

Grace , you have come up with and collected some wonderful Irish items to celebrate St. Patrick's Day! My neighbor gave me two Shamrock plants yesterday and it is the first time I have ever had any. I have some Irish blood from my Father's side of the family. But it is small compared to English and German bloodstock.

Judith,, my favorite thing about the Shamrock plant are the tiny white flowers...
I luv Trader Joe's, they have the best prices (at least up here) for fresh cut flowers and cacti as well as various house plants..

Have a great visit with your daughter...

If you live near a Trader Joe’s store.. they have Shamrocks …

Just remember Shamrocks are toxic to both humans and pets..

I love celebrating St.Patricks day even though he wasnt Irish! My brother's have done our genealogy and I would love to go to Ireland and visit where my family came from!

I think I like St. Patricks Day because it means Spring is close behind. It's the end of cold dark winter and green things are popping out of the ground.. Not to mention corned beef and cabbage..... The last several years I've been making our corned beef.

Wow Grace, you have one terrific thrift store! I love your decorations. I'm not Irish either but I do decorate the house for spring. My husband is Persian and I will be putting everything up next month for the first day of spring which is the Persian New Year, Nowruz. Enjoy and smile at all of your beautiful decor.

Grace, I love your decorations! I wish I had more. St. Patrick's Day has always been a favorite of mine. I always love finding all the different green things I can wear.
