I have been somewhat MIA on the news,, (I needed a break)... and just saw/read about what is going on back on the East Coast..

We were safe here in Gainesville which is inland in the state. But, we all dread hurricanes this time of year because even being inland, a powerful storm can reach us and really cause damage from the winds, tornadoes and dumping of lots of rain. Can't wait until November 30th when the season is OVER!

Thank you everyone, but I think we will be ok here in SC, but the NC outer banks not so much. Prayers needed for sure!
A day hemmed in prayer is less likely to unravel.

Winnie is in Gainesville, I know that's near the middle of the state.She deals with Hurricane season every year! The uncertainty has to be stressful.
