I love my Father Santa, had him about 25 years, ordered him from the Spiegel catalog which is gone out of business now. Some of these belonged to my Grandmother. My sweet retro towel from Kelly Christmas towel swap.
Merry Christmas! Connie Sue

Connie, you know how much I love the vintage Santas from decades past!! I love that you shared so many great pictures here for everyone to enjoy. It is just like walking back in Woolworths in the 1950s and 60s at Christmas time!! I always just loved Santa's faces back then compared to the 21st Century Santas.

Thank you grace! Yes your right! They did give them away with purchase of dish soap and they sold them at dime stores like Woolworths. All of these are from the 1960's.
I just love them !

Connie, Love your cute collection of whimsical Christmas goodies,, especially the 2 'Pixies' (top row , rt.pic.)
If memory serve me, back in the 1960's a certain brand of dish soap gave them away with a large bottle of the dish soap.. again, if memory serves me...

Connie Sue, your Christmas decorations are beautiful! I love all the vintage pieces. Vintage Christmas is my favorite. It just has a distinct feel to it. Your mesh stockings are really neat too. What a fun collection you have.

Thanks for sharing your collection with us Connie. It brings a lot of memories for me. Amazing how long that peppermint stick has lasted!

Love your tree topper Wanda Sue. I can see the bell. It's great you were able to hold onto it all these years!

Wanda Sue, I love your Farmgirl Star!!
These stockings I collected about 20 years ago! They are from the 1960's and 1950's 2 were old store stock found in a drugstore in a town square that had been closed for decades! Here are some close up pictures, the big ones have almost a 70 year old peppermint stick still hanging on! I knew peppermint lasted a long time, not that long. I remember getting one from Sunday school and fro. A teacher at elementary school. And one Christmas, a little one with just candy.
Merry Christmas! Connie Sue

Connie Sue I love all of your vintage Christmas decorations! Can you still find those net stockings or are they saved from years past? I remember getting one in first grade back in 1964. It was full of candy and small toys, and I still have the tiny little bell that I hang on my tree every year. It used to be bright red, lol, Fifty years has taken its toll. It always gets a top, front, and center place on the tree. You might have to expand the pic to see it. Thank you for bringing back warm memories.
