Husband passed this morning at 6:15-Hospice was called and she in turn called our funeral director-

We had a very rough night with his breathing and death rattle-He became unresponsive through the day and non verbal that progressed at an alarming rate.

We meet with the funeral director again this afternoon to make arrangements-family has been informed and my daughter is managing the phone calls. I'm numb and very tired-my heart pounding-I made myself a cuppa tea and will sit in the quiet before all that comes with preparing with arranging the details when someone passes. I realize this is all a natural process of death-but you don't really know what happens and how you will respond until it happens-and it's something that everyone will have to deal with eventually which in a way is comforting.

Please continue to pray for strength for my family in the next weeks and months -Thank you ladies for ALWAYS being there for me. Love Mel

Melody,
So very sorry. You are right about not knowing till it happens. Grieving is a gift and a way to keep the memories going. May God be with you and comfort you in the way that only he can. I am praying for you and your family.
