thought this might be a fun 'thread' to post photos of the precious children in our lives!

i think this is my most favorite photo of little lucas .. he was almost three years old (a year ago) in this picture.

'angels unawares' .. i can't tell the difference between him and his mom (wednesday) when she was this age:

now THIS (our precious children) is our reason for living!

and it really does not matter whether they are our own or even if we've never had children of our own .. they are ALL god's children.

Hi Frannie,
I will try to explain this best I can, I am not really good with computer stuff. This is how I do it.
1. click on upload images
2.click on new album~ at this point you can name your album or just keep the date.[ of course i name mine I love naming stuff]
3. click continue
4. On this page you will have two choices. single upload or the ez upload tool. I always choose the single up load, click.
5.on this page is where you will find the browse button. It's on the right hand side of your screen above your album name or date. browse your photos, click and open it should add them to your imagestation screen
6. on the left it sais upload images click on that. after it's uploaded it sais Success! Your images have been uploaded. then I click to go to album. Then your there and ready to post.
I hope this helps you . I am really not good at these things. If you have any other questions I will do the best I can to answer them. This image of the kids at my girlfriends in Sunny california I posted using these directions....

I use Sony's ImageStation.

Theresa .. i went to ImageStation and tried to upload photos ..

it says to do this:

Upload Images
Click on "Browse" to find the images you want to upload.
Then click on the "Upload Images" button.

But i don't see a BROWSE BUTTON .. i checked the help section and it said to enable cookies and activeX controls .. i did this .. but still i don't see a BROWSE button on the page where i'm supposed to upload photos. any suggestions? Frannie

Great job!!! Now if you want to make it bigger, then when you're in your album in Imagestation, left click to select your picture before right clicking to get your properties. Then paste that URL. It'll be bigger. Because I'd love to see that quilt in more detail.

Jenny, I don't use photobucket, I use Sony's ImageStation. You go to www.imagestation.com, and follow their directions. You can split your computer screen, have your pics on one side and their screen on the other, and simply drag your pics to their site. Then, when they're successfully uploaded, you go to your pic and right click on it. At the bottom of the box it'll say Properties. When you click on that, it'll give you some information about your pic; how many pixels, etc. In the middle it'll have the URL, or the picture's address. You copy that by highlighting and then right clicking, then clicking on Copy. Then you come back to the Farmgirl board, and click on Reply to Topic. In the bunch of little boxes at the top of where you write your message, there's a little box with a picture and a little trumpetlike thing on the side. Click on that, and it'll make something in your message box that looks like this: [ img ] [/img ]. You click in between that to place your cursor there, right click and bring up the little box that says Paste, and then click on that; it'll automatically paste in that looong address for your pic. You can then hit Preview underneath to make sure it 'took.'

I know it sounds long and complicated. It's much easier if I could show you; then it goes really fast. And the more you do it, the easier it becomes. Now I don't even give it a second thought, and I'm really a dork with computers.

I hope this helps!

All of your children are adorable, so precious.

Can I ask a dumb question, how do you get the pics to pop up in here and not just direct someone to your album, duh...lol.

Thank you Frannie for your kind words... I have to say your grandson is picture perfect! It is so fun to take a mud puddle moment and laugh, grab the camera and some tin pie pans for mud pies!!! That was a wonderful summer day!

These photos are the most recent being Christmas 2005.
